The Manhattanville College Gallery of Fine Art in conjunction with The Studio presented a two-part exhibition. It examined FLWright's treatise on the future of cities curated by Johanna Cooper and the Green Rickshaw project by William Meyer. Cathrin Hoskinson  

June 2009 - May 2010

On June 13, 2009, Cathrin Hoskinson installed a large-scale sculpture entitled "Tree and Sky." The piece is made of cut and painted aluminum and was recently exhibited in the 22nd Rosen Outdoor Sculpture Competition. Cathrin states, "I think of the sculpture as a poem. The overlay of metaphors becomes an idea of the self in its surroundings. Press Release

Frank Lloyd Wright and Usonia: An Experiment in Living
The Studio: An Alternative Space for Contemporary Art is pleased to host a landmark exhibit about Usonia, the Westchester community designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The exhibit included archival materials not previously available to the public, and also provided the opportunity to listen to recorded statements made by founding members of the Usonia community.
