Annual
Artists' Open Studios Event
Join in for an entertaining weekend of fun and travel to beautiful
homes and studios throughout Westchester. The self-guided tour
will begin each day at 9:30am at The Studio in Armonk, located
at 2 Maryland Avenue, where visitors may enjoy a Continental
Breakfast and view contemporary sculpture in a garden setting.
Participants may visit the individual studios and alternative
spaces in any order during the two-day event on Saturday, May
17 and Sunday, May 18. |

Hearing
Space: A sound installation with visual clues by Bruce Odland
This sound installation will occupy
the entire gallery, transforming it into a place of deep listening.
Many of the unusual instruments and devices that were constructed
in order to gather the sounds for the project will be on view.

At North Castle Town Hall: "Bright Moment" by Dan Bergman
Installed in front of Town Hall in Armonk,
NY., Dan Bergman’s kinetic sculpture, “Bright Moment” will
be a cheerful, shinning green presence for all to enjoy. June 2007 through

An Incomplete Archive
of the
Natural World
A site-specific
installation by conceptual artist Shiela Hale. This mixed media artist makes
extensive use of natural materials
in her assemblages and constructions.

Art is pleased to host a landmark exhibit about Usonia, the Westchester
community designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The exhibit includes
arhival materials not previously available to the public, as well
as recorded statements
made
by founding members of the Usonia community. |

The
Power of Color: The Power of the Brush
A
solo exhibition of works by Joyce Wenglowksi, a painter and mixed
media artist.
The show will include Ms. Wenglowski’s newest series of paintings,
which have been described as “rich in chromatic and gestural
strength.” (Gillian Greenhill Hannum).

winter solstice series continues with, “Winter Solstice V: Expressions
