Twelve
artists explore life through their art Armonk, NY...The Studio is pleased to announce their fall exhibition, "Artist As Teacher." This show, curated by Randy Williams, brings together a group of remarkable people who are both accomplished artists and enthusiastic teachers. Their understanding of their chosen mediums and their passion for their chosen aesthetic techniques make them successful as teachers and artists. Their art grows out of their varied experiences in the world, and their art enables them to share these experiences with their students and with the viewers of their artworks. The curator of the exhibition has described the participants as "bodhisattvas who accept and embrace their responsibilities for elevating humanity, knowing that their teaching will help to unite the world." The artists included in the exhibition are as follows: Yayoi Asoma, Laurel Garcia Colvin, William Crow, Michael Filan, G. George Girard, Kate Johnson, Laura King, Tim Ross, Masha Ryskin, Dolores Santoliquido, Mary Ting, and Randy Williams.
